After gong to work we started off to Show Low to watch Josh play ball, and it has been a fairly decent day. Mom wanted to go, so we picked her and Jason (at school) up and we started up the country in the little blue Datsun we got from Mark and Liza. But when we got half way up the divide it refused to go any farther, we finally had to turn around and come back down to Mom's where we got her car and went on up and watched the game.
We sat by Violet and Earl and visited with them. They had just come back from Roosevelt Lake where they had been camping and fishing for 2 weeks. They said they had caught 1 fish. They go down and camp with friends they have made over the years from other parts of Arizona and who come there to camp at this time each year.
Snowflake won the game 6-2. Tony Tate pitched, Josh caught, Andy Savage 1st base, Eric Ramsey 2nd base, Duane Strohmeyer 3rd base, Donnie Brewer Shortstop, Joel Chapman or Tony Reidhead left field, Todd Reidhead center field, and Alan Loggains right field. They have a pretty good team but a young one. Josh, Tony, Todd and Alan are the only Seniors, so they should have a good team next year.
Came home, had a make-shift supper, Josh went to the dance and the rest of us went to bed.
